Topic: Whats your anime top 10?

Hey guys, I am Melvin and today I would like to know your anime top 10! I have watched tons of anime myself but am always looking for more to watch, and what better way to get good animes in genres that you might not like yet then ask others. So here is my anime top 10!

1.   Clannad: Afterstory
2.   Haibane Renmei
3.   Eden of the East
4.   Mushishi
5.   Welcome to the NHK!
6.   Full metal alchemist: Brotherhood
7.   Last Exile
8.   Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
9.   Air
10. Kanon (2006)

A lesson without pain is meaningless.
You cannot gain something without sacrificing something in return.
But once you have overcome it and made it your own.
You will gain an irreplaceable fullmetal heart.

Is it bad that I only recognize one of those, I am just not well versed in the anime word. Could have something to do with the fact that I live in the US and my only real exposure to anime is whats on Cartoon Network. :-P

Not really. If you don't watch anime then you wouldn't know any of them except whats show on cartoon network really. Before I started all I knew was basically DBZ, bleach, etc..

I wanted to list Steins;gate in my top10 aswell but its not finished yet so ye sad Also see some anime I have not tried before so this thread worked out for me^^

I don't have my animes sorted in any top10 way so I will just write a couple of them that I gladly recommend:

- Seirei no Moribito
- Vision of Escaflowne
- Berserk
- Black Lagoon

Those four I can recommend anytime to anyone - all of them are masterpieces, at least in my humble opinion.
